Welcome to the practical launchpad of your capstone project! Before you submit your finalized Digital Participation Plan for grading, this workshop forum gives you the opportunity to test your messaging strategy, showcase your presentation skills, and receive critical peer feedback on your project's feasibility.

To complete this activity, you must post your own project launch thread and reply to at least one of your peers.

Part 1: Your Submission Post

When you create your new forum thread, please include the following two components:

  1. The "Campaign Launch Pitch" Video (1–2 Minutes):

Upload or embed a short video pitching your digital initiative to our cohort. Imagine you are launching your campaign today—use the 1-Minute Cause Story structural framework you mastered in Lesson 4! Ensure your video has a sharp 3-second hook, clearly states the societal stake, and ends with a powerful Call to Action (CTA). Remember our digital well-being and visual guidelines: speak clearly, and ensure your video is filmed in a secure, well-lit environment.

  2. Your Draft Digital Participation Plan Link:

Attach your draft document or share a link to your collaborative workspace (e.g., Google Docs) so your classmates can read through your complete operational layout, messaging strategy, and ethical code of conduct.

Part 2: Peer Review Requirements

Once your pitch and draft are live, review the thread of at least one classmate. Leave a detailed, professional reply addressing the following three evaluative metrics:

  • The Hook Evaluation: Did their 3-second video hook genuinely catch your attention and stop your scroll? How authentic and clear was their closing Call to Action (CTA)?
  •
  • Feasibility Check: Based on their draft plan, do you think their chosen digital channels match their target audience effectively? Is their plan realistic for a youth team to manage without causing team burnout?

  • Ethical Responsibility: Look closely at their proposed project's ethical code of conduct. Have they safely planned for risk mitigation, data privacy, or potential online backlash as we discussed in Lesson 5?

💡 Netiquette Reminder: Keep your feedback constructive, firm on structural principles, yet supportive and encouraging. We are here to refine each other's ideas before the final real-world launch!
