Advocacy can happen at many levels. Understanding where your project fits will help you identify the most appropriate audiences and opportunities.
Community level
You may work with schools, youth centres, municipalities, or local organisations to improve services or encourage new initiatives.
National level
Youth councils, ministries, public consultations, and national youth organisations often invite young people to contribute ideas and recommendations.
European and international level
Projects can also contribute to wider discussions through initiatives such as the EU Youth Dialogue, European youth networks, the Council of Europe, or United Nations youth mechanisms.
Not every project will reach every level, and that is perfectly normal. Many successful international initiatives began by solving a local problem.
