1. Open TikTok → Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy
2. Go to Privacy
   • Set Account privacy → Private account (recommended)
   • Who can see your videos → Friends or Only me
   • Who can comment on your videos → Friends
   • Who can duet/stitch your videos → Friends or No one
   • Who can view your liked videos → Only me
3. Go to Settings → Security → Downloads → Turn off “Allow others to download my videos”
4. Location Services → Turn off
5. Ad personalization → Limit as much as possible

Example 2: Instagram Privacy Audit (Step-by-Step)

1. Open Instagram → Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy
2. Go to Privacy
   • Account privacy → Turn on Private account
   • Mentions → Who can mention you → People you follow
   • Tags → Who can tag you → People you follow or No one
   • Story → Close Friends or Hide story from specific people
3. Interactions → Limit comments, tags, and mentions from non-followers
4. Ads → Ad topics → Limit sensitive topics
5. Data sharing → Review “Your activity” and limit data used for ads
