While the SDGs provide a global perspective, the European Youth Goals reflect the priorities identified by thousands of young people across Europe. They help ensure that youth policies and projects respond to the issues that matter most to younger generations.

European youth goals

Several Youth Goals are particularly relevant for digital and community-based initiatives.

Goal 3 – Inclusive Societies

Consider how your project can include young people with fewer opportunities. Think about accessibility, language, affordability, and representation when designing activities or digital products.

Goal 10 – Sustainable Green Europe

Digital innovation should also consider environmental responsibility. If your project uses blockchain technology, learn about the environmental impact of different solutions and consider more energy-efficient alternatives where appropriate.

Goal 11 – Youth Organisations and European Programmes

Your project can strengthen the youth sector by encouraging participation, supporting cooperation between organisations, and promoting active citizenship across Europe.

Remember that one project may contribute to several Youth Goals. Choosing the most relevant one simply helps communicate your project's priorities more clearly.
