The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the United Nations, provide a shared vision for creating a more sustainable, inclusive, and peaceful world by 2030.

When you connect your project to one or more SDGs, you explain how your activities contribute to broader global priorities. Many successful projects support several goals at the same time, but identifying one primary SDG helps communicate your project's main focus.

Examples of how digital projects can contribute

SDG 4 – Quality Education

Create NFTs that recognise participation in workshops, provide digital certificates, or support educational initiatives for young people.

SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities

Use your project to highlight underrepresented artists, support marginalised communities, or improve access to digital opportunities.

SDG 13 – Climate Action

Develop environmentally responsible digital projects and, where appropriate, choose blockchain technologies with lower energy consumption while supporting environmental initiatives.

SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals

Use digital technologies to strengthen cooperation between organisations, improve transparency, or document shared contributions within international partnerships.
