Part A — Grade a real collection. Find an existing NFT collection connected to a social cause. Reading only what a stranger would see, score it out of 5 on each of the four components — premise, visual system, cause connection, invitation — with one sentence of reasoning each.
Part B — Write your own. One paragraph, maximum 120 words, for a hypothetical collection about your issue, containing all four components. This skeleton may help:
"[Name] is a collection of [number] [what] created by [who] with [whom]. Each piece [what varies and what it means]. [X]% of sales would go to [named recipient] to [specific use]. Holders [what they get or join]."
Part C — Test it. Read it aloud to at least one person who knows nothing about NFTs. Say nothing before or after. Note exactly where they interrupted, looked confused or asked a question. Submit those notes unedited, then submit a rewritten version with a line on what you changed and why.
Part D — The honest question. Would an NFT collection actually be the right vehicle for your issue? One paragraph. "No, because…" is a strong answer.
