Let's put the ultimate content planning tool to the test. Before creating a campaign, a smart creator checks if people actually care about the topic right now. Let's find out what the world is searching for.Β

The Task:Β

  1. Open Google Trends.Β

  2. Think of a broad topic related to your social project (e.g., Mental Health, Web3, Volunteering, Climate Change, Youth Work, NFTs).Β

  3. Type it into the search bar. Play with the filters: change the country to your local region, or change the timeframe to "Past 12 months".Β

  4. Post Your Findings: Head to the Course Forum and find the thread titled "Lesson 2: Google Trends Explorer". Share one interesting fact or pattern you discovered.Β

Example: "I searched for 'Eco-friendly' in the UK over the past 12 months. I noticed a massive spike in searches every year in April, right around Earth Day!"Β

Peer Review: Find a trend posted by another student. Reply to their post with one concrete content idea that fits their data.Β
