Turn your ideas into action by creating a digital campaign that informs, inspires, and motivates people to make a positive difference in their community.

Scenario

Imagine you are part of a youth organisation that wants to raise awareness about an important social issue in your community.

Your task is to design a mini digital campaign that informs, inspires, and encourages people to take action.

Use the template below to present your campaign idea.

Step 1 – Choose Your Cause

What social issue would you like to address?

Examples:

  • Mental health
  • Climate change
  • Anti-bullying
  • Human rights
  • Gender equality
  • Digital safety
  • Volunteering
  • Social inclusion
  • Animal welfare
  • Sustainable living

Write 1–2 sentences explaining why this issue matters.

Step 2 – Identify your audience

Who is your campaign for?

Include:

  • Age group
  • Interests
  • Community or location
  • Why this audience should care

Step 3 – Create your key message

What is the one main idea you want people to remember after seeing your campaign?

Keep it clear, positive and action-oriented.

Step 4 – Create a campaign identity

Design the identity of your campaign.

Complete the following:

  • Campaign title
  • Hashtag
  • Slogan (maximum 8 words)

Step 5 – Choose the best platform

Which platform would be most effective?

Choose one or more:

  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • Facebook
  • YouTube
  • X (Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • Other

Explain your choice in 2–3 sentences.

Step 6 – Plan your content

What type of content would you publish?

Select one or more:

  • Short video (Reel/TikTok)
  • Instagram carousel
  • Poster
  • Infographic
  • Story
  • Meme
  • Animation
  • Podcast
  • Photo campaign
  • Other

Briefly describe your content idea.

Step 7 – Design your visual

Create a simple visual that represents your campaign.

You may submit:

  • a poster;
  • a social media post;
  • a Canva design;
  • an infographic;
  • a hand-drawn sketch;
  • an AI-generated concept.

You do not need to create a final professional design—the goal is to communicate your idea visually.

Step 8 – Inspire action

Finish your campaign with a Call to Action (CTA).

Examples:

  • Join us.
  • Share your story.
  • Start the conversation.
  • Volunteer today.
  • Speak up.
  • Every action counts.

Create your own original CTA.

📤 Submission

Upload your campaign concept to the Assignment activity or share it in the Forum.

If posting in the forum, review at least one campaign created by another learner and provide constructive feedback.
