📘 What You’ll Learn 

In this course, you will develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become an active and responsible citizen in both your local community and the digital world. By the end of this learning journey, you will understand the principles of citizenship education, strengthen your democratic competencies, and discover how digital tools—including NFTs—can support civic participation and social innovation. 

• Understand the foundations of citizenship education - explore the key concepts, values, and principles of citizenship education. You will learn how democracy, human rights, participation, and social responsibility contribute to inclusive and resilient communities. 
• Develop democratic and civic competences - Strengthen your ability to think critically, participate respectfully in discussions, make informed decisions, and contribute positively to your community while respecting diversity and democratic values. 
• Practice responsible digital citizenship - learn how to participate safely, ethically, and responsibly in digital environments. You will explore digital identity, online rights and responsibilities, digital participation, and strategies for recognizing misinformation and promoting respectful online communication. 
• Apply creative digital tools for civic engagement - Discover how digital storytelling, social media, and innovative technologies such as NFTs can be used to communicate civic values, raise awareness, encourage participation, and support social causes. 
• Design a creative civic initiative - bring your learning together by developing a creative civic concept that promotes a democratic value or addresses a community challenge. You will apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout the course to create a meaningful digital product, including the option of designing an NFT concept for civic engagement.

• Apply your learning through civic action – develop a simple civic initiative or NFT concept that promotes democratic values and contributes to positive social change.
