The world is becoming more digital by the day and as an entrepreneur this is an opportunity that you cannot let pass unnoticed. In this module, you will learn about the definition, history, types, and characteristics of digital entrepreneurship. You will also explore the benefits, opportunities, challenges, and examples of becoming a digital entrepreneur in the 21st century.

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Explain what digital entrepreneurship is and how it differs from traditional entrepreneurship
  • Identify the different types of digital entrepreneurship and their features
  • Recognize the advantages and disadvantages of being a digital entrepreneur
  • Observe opportunities and challenges in digital entrepreneurship
  • Evaluate the success stories of some of the top digital entrepreneurs in the world
